The Hayes Rule

Only 44 Cor 375 compression "The Big 44 Shark" Decker balls can be used on the North field. I am going to pay for a hood on my neighbors car because it was hit by a softball from this complex. Insurance does not cover this. Next year the same rule will apply in league and in tournaments. This year when I put a tournament on a 375 was used on the North field. I did not have problems with people complaining about the 375 balls in my tournaments so I do not expect any problems in league. When I had a very good Classic League in the late 90s we had 12 class C and better teams playing out here and we used 40 Cor 400 compression on the North field. That ball did not fly as good as this Decker. Oh and the teams did not complain because they understood why I had to do it.

If a batter is ready to hit and the umpire is ready for the pitch and the pitcher has a 400 compression ball that was given to him by the opposing team that batter is out.
